个人简介 (Biography):

董春雨博士,ylzzcom永利总站线路检测“百人计划”副教授,博导。主要从事气候变化与生态水文响应、水文水灾害遥感方法等领域的研究。近年来开展的研究课题包括:气候变化和极端干旱对自然-城市植被生态系统的作用机制研究、卫星遥感-定位观测-水文模型在积雪水文中的集成应用研究、生态水文遥感算法与数据产品研发等。主持和参与国家自然科学基金、国家重点研发计划子课题、广东省自然科学基金等各类科技项目10余项。在Nature旗下Communications Earth & Environment、Remote Sensing of Environment、Geophysical Research Letters等本领域著名期刊上发表学术论文50余篇,获得国际和国内授权发明专利5项、软件著作权2项。获教育部科学技术进步二等奖、德意志学术交流中心(DAAD)博士论文完成奖等荣誉,2023~2024连续两年入选美国斯坦福大学与爱思唯尔(Elsevier)“全球前2%顶尖科学家榜单”(World's Top 2% Scientists)。现担任ylzzcom永利总站线路检测城市水循环与智慧水务实验室、海绵城市与径潮流试验场负责人,兼任《Journal of Plant Ecology》、《Research in Cold and Arid Regions》、《热带地理》、《冰川冻土》等期刊青年编委,曾受邀担任美国航空航天局(NASA)基金会评专家。

Dr Chunyu Dong is currently an Associate Professor at Sun Yat-sen University's School of Civil Engineering. He obtained a PhD in Hydrology and Climatology at Heidelberg University (2016). He has been a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) during 2016-2019, and a guest researcher at the Heidelberg University since 2019. He has a research background in the fields of ecohydrology, snow hydrology, and hydrological remote sensing. Dr Dong's research seeks to understand the impacts of climate change on the water cycle and terrestrial ecosystems at multiple spatial and temporal scales, using approaches of remote sensing, hydrological modelling, field observations, etc. He has published more than 50 journal articles and is successively named in the World's Top 2% Scientists List, compiled by Stanford University and Elsevier.

Postdoctoral Researcher Positions Available
Our research group is seeking applications for two Postdoctoral researcher positions. We are looking for highly motivated and talented individuals to investigate the impacts of climate change on urban-natural ecosystems, hydrological systems, and disaster management. The successful candidates will utilize remote sensing, modeling, in-situ observations, or a combination of these approaches. Applications will be accepted until the positions are filled.

Qualifications:
Candidates should possess a doctoral degree in physical geography, GIS, hydrology, ecology, atmospheric science, or a related field. Experience with remote sensing, hydrological/climate/ecological modeling, or working with reanalysis and climate model data is essential. A strong understanding of climate change impacts on ecohydrological processes is expected. Applicants should also demonstrate proficiency in statistical data analysis and scientific programming (R, Python, Matlab, or similar). Proficiency in English is required, as candidates are expected to present their findings at international conferences and publish in leading scientific journals.

Remuneration and Benefits:
The University offers competitive salaries, annual merit pay, and additional benefits, including relocation allowances and relevant start-up funds. Qualified researchers may apply for a three-year extension of their contract as a distinguished researcher or distinguished associate researcher, or for promotion to a faculty position.
