What I want to say to future students and colleagues

I've been fascinated by water conservation and low impact development in sponge city. The notion that development of roof greening with rain storage using Wicking Capillary Infiltration Irrigation (WCII), especially for response of infiltration rate of WCII to water potential gradient and its environment and sponge effects is just fascinating to me. I am also interested in efficient water-use in agriculture and water vapor adsorption in arid lands.

I believe that WCII will push the development of roof greening and alleviate urban pluvial flooding. The study is not only a frontier of irrigation science, but also has a positive practical significance for promoting sound development of green roof and sponge city.

I came to Sun Yat-Sen University in 2015, and I've enjoyed every day of it. If master and Ph. D students are also interested in my research topics, you are welcome to join our research group to conduct cutting-edge experiments and research. Postdoctoral positions are also available.
